On the eleventh day of Christmas, Pinewood Steading gave to me.. The Black Isle!

There is so much to see and do on the Black Isle, worth at least a day out but here are some of our favourite ideas in no particular order. Start off at Chanrony Point, between Fortrose and Rosemarkie to walk along the beach and watch out for dolpins.

Chanonry Point Lighthouse

This is considered the best place to see bottlenose dolphins so close us. Enjoy looking for sea glass and walk along the beack to the cafe at Rosemarkie.

Back in the car, head up to Cromarty – a wonderful harbour village with the most lovely shops and glorious views. I love seeing the oil rigs in the Cromarty Firth. While in Cromarty, definitely check out lunch or dinner at @sutorcreek
