On the 2nd day of Christmas, Pinewood Steading gave to me – Abriachan!

For those that know us and follow us on Facebook and Instagram regularly, you will know this had to be on the list ! One of our favourite local places to walk and explore, and just a 15 minutes drive from Pinewood. There are endless walks here, and with a little bit of effort, you get to take in some spectacular views. There’s also a children’s play area, nature trail, nature hide, mountain bike track, and lots of hidden gems along the way: like the Sheiling, old whisky still and interesting sculptures. There’s a great view of Loch Ness too. Take a trip at night for some star gazing in this Dark Sky Park, or hop across the road to the Abriachan Eco Cafe.
